Metal first. Shingles when you want them.
Metal is what Loren pushes and what he does most — including laying it straight over a tired asphalt roof. If shingles are the right call for the building or for the budget, he does those too. He also hangs gutters and sets snow guards.
Standing-seam metal roofs
Full metal roofs on houses, from the underlayment up. Clean panel lines, tight seams, trim that sits where it should.
Barns, shops & pole buildings
Farm country work. Machine sheds, pole barns, garages and outbuildings — the same roof, on a bigger footprint.
Asphalt shingle roofs
He is not a metal-or-nothing outfit. If shingles suit the house or the budget better, he will tell you so — and then shingle it.

Five Star Roofing LLC is Loren Yoder’s shop, run out of Bonduel and worked by hand — Amish owned, Amish built.
There is no sales team here and no one making commission off your roof. Loren measures it, prices it, and then he is the one up there putting it on. When he is done, his name is on the sign at the end of the road, four miles from the job.

Bonduel is home, and most of his work sits within about a half hour of it — Shawano, the Green Bay side, the Fox Valley, and up toward Oconto. He does travel farther for the right job, so if your town is not listed, call and ask.

Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The estimate is free and Loren gives it in person, standing on or beside your roof — not over the phone and not off a satellite picture. Call either number and ask for one.
Do you only do metal roofs?
Metal is the specialty and it is most of what he does. He also lays asphalt shingles. If shingles are the better call for your building or your budget, he will say so.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Five Star Roofing LLC is licensed and insured.
Can I stop by?
Call first — 715-701-1854. Loren is on a roof most days, so there is often nobody at the shop during the day. A quick call saves you the drive.
Do you do gutters or snow guards?
Yes. Loren hangs gutters on most of the roofs he does, so the roof and the gutters get finished together instead of months apart. He also sets snow guards on metal roofs to hold sliding snow off doorways and walks.
Do you do roof repairs?
No. Loren doesn’t take repair work. He installs new roofs: standing-seam metal, metal right over an existing shingle roof, and asphalt shingle roofs.
Can I email you or fill out a form?
